On September 19, 2024, the Executive Committee of the College directed the Registrar to suspend the Member's certificate of registration. The Order continues in force until the Complaints Committee makes a decision under clauses 31(5)(b) to (e) of the Early Childhood Educators Act, 2007 or the matter is disposed of by the Discipline Committee or the Fitness to Practise Committee. 

On or around September 17, 2024, at the City of St. Catharines, Ontario, the Member was arrested and charged with having committed assault on a child for conduct occurring on September 13, 2024, contrary to section 268 of the Criminal Code.
